Ballard Evans uses sophisticated business tools to identify suitable acquisition targets for clients looking to make acquisitions, as well as the Directors’ wide network of corporate finance contacts.

We will initially look to understand our clients’ business, their rationale for making acquisitions, proposed methods of financing and the size and type of business they want to acquire.

Using our databases and contacts, we will agree a list of suitable targets with our client and make discreet approaches to them.

We will engage in dialogue with those businesses who are interested in progressing discussions. We project manage each phase of the transaction including agreeing the deal value and structure, funding, analysing the target and its management team and developing a business plan.

We only carry out advisory services and do not undertake due diligence work, but we can introduce a firm which can provide such services and is appropriate to the size and nature of each deal.
